I had my reception there three weeks ago. I really think it is the best value of any place in DC. You get so much for your money. That said I would highly recommend getting uplighting for the space (we went back and forth about and ultimately got it) - it costs extra of course, but completely transforms the space. I figure we got such a good deal that we could afford to spend a little more for the uplighting. We had a few communication problems with the staff there, but the price really made it all worthwhile. Bobbilyn is the woman in charge and I think she really tries hard and is very sweet.
good food, works well if you're looking for more american food (ie works well for my family from NC that isn't into fancy food or you have picky eaters). The atrium is absolutely lovely - it's at the back of the restaurant, far more quiet than the main restaurant.
Thanks for all the input. This will be for my daughters wedding and I am not from D.C. so I wanted some input from others. Please do email me pics at migel@cvzoom.net. And about the uplighting, any recs on who we can get for that?
