Reem Acra Question

Hello Gals,I just purchased a stunning Reem Acra gown from a designer consignment shop in NYC (Upper East Side) called Michael's. The dress is from the Spring 2008 collection and although I purchased it without colored embellishments like it is pictured in runway photos, I am looking for the name/ID number of the gown. It is a full skirt with a strapless top with criss-cross rouching. Anyone know the name of the gown? Basically I am looking for the original price as I want to see what a deal we got!Any help would be fabulous!

Re: Reem Acra Question

  • Is this it?http://www.brides.com/fashion/dresses/gallery/wedding_dresses/runway/designer/reemacra/detail/144212?offset=109Honestly, I would check with one of the stores that sell Reem Acra in NYC area.  There should be a serial number on a tag along the inseam of the dress along with the size of the dress in the bodice area.  It is not the big tag on the inside part of the lining facing your back.  It is a small tag roughly 1 to 2 inches.  It may also say the type of fabric your gown is constructed of.If you take that serial number to one of the authorized Reem Acra salons they should be able to identify the name of the dress.  Another option is you can e-mail or call their flagship salon directly.  Tell them you bought a dress with their label on it and are trying to identify it.In my experience I have found the flagship salons to be really helpful and really knowledgable when asking questions specifically related to a design and the cost of the design.  Just make sure you do it on a day that is not super busy.
