Table Number Inspiration?

I know I should post this on the DIY board, but P&E seems to get a bunch more traffic....I can't figure out what to do for my table numbers--we have 25 tables, (so the look I really like--picture frames-- might get a little pricey). What did you use/what are you planning to use/what is your inspiration? TY & TIA!

We're WoW nerds and named our tables after places in the game, and then took pics of our characters there. It was my favorite detail of the wedding, even if practically no one got it.pics in my planning bio under reception.

Oh, and ours was just a regular piece of card stock cut in half. They stuck it in the little holder thing so that it was higher.

Our were originally going to be on pieces of wire in bottles in the centerpieces, but they were too top heavy, so instead we just made little triangle backs out of the same card stock so they could stand up on their own (way cheaper than picture frames) and glued little stones on there so they wouldn't blow away (outdoor reception).There should be pictures of both versions somewhere in my planning and/or married bios.

Our table numbers incorporated our engagement pictures. Some people loved the pictures so much they wandered from table to table so they could see them all!

Designed my own and used cardstock. I folded them into a tent. I couldn't find any holders I liked so I had to come up with my own.

I totally forgot about the Dollar Tree! I'll definitely have to stop by and see what they have.Sucrets & Brie--I love the ideas of making it more personal...I'll have to see what I have time/brain power to do with the wedding in about a month, and I'm moving/he's moving/we're moving in between then as well...we'll see!

Veronabrit and I both got our frames at The Dollar Store. My frames were black, with a damask pattern, and had glass, not plastic, covers. I'd go there first.

We used the Army phonetical alphabet (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, etc.) We labeled each table like "1: Alpha" "2: Bravo" etc. We did this because DH was in the Army and it played a huge role in our relationship. In a lot of ways, I thank the Army for making our relationship so strong, so we wanted to include it somehow.

I found really cute chalkboards! Totally depends on the theme of your wedding, but check my bio under Photo Galleries for ideas. I found them for super cheap at Joann's online.

I got my frames from the Dollar Store, too. We just used numbers, but then put pictures of us at that age (e.g. Table 6 had pictures of us at age 6, etc). PIB.

Thanks for the link, Tide! I found the card stock earlier today (Big Lots), so hopefully I'll be able to find the rest of the materials for the table numbers at the Dollar Tree. Thanks ladies!

omg sucrets - I love your WoW tables! We both play too.Our table markers will be playbills from different musicals--we're both into theater and got engaged at a Broadway show.
