Hey all-I was wondering if any one knew a good massage therapist. I have been having horrible sciatica, due to a back injury a few months ago, and would like to find someone to help me out.Thanks.~Julie
I and my DH's family all go to Craig T. Matthews -- he does a great job. He works out of his home. He has a site that shows his schedule, craigshands.com, but I think he prefers that you call to make an appointment.
Kate at The Austin Bodywprker is fantastic - http://www.austinbodyworker.com/Also, Mandy D. with Milk & Honey downtown is great, but not clinical. I think Kate would be better for your issue.
There are a few massage therapists at Austin Longeveity Center. I've been to all of them at one time or another, and they're great. Google their number, and let them know what's going on and what you're looking for, and they can recommend the one that has the most experience. I generally pay about $70 for an hour. Their chiropractors are great there too, in case you're looking for that too.
I've seen Paul at Milk & Honey downtown and he is fabulous. He has really helped with my knots - he incorporates a lot of sports massage into his work and he does a terrific job.
No siggy pic until TB gets rid of Twitter and FB links
