inviting coworkers?

I work at a physical therapy clinic, which has about 12 employees.  I am not inviting any aides but I am inviting the therapists.  I am not inviting this one guy I am not a fan of him but he is the only person I wouldn't be inviting  (besides aides).  Should I just invite him because that would be rude?  I really don't want to.

I would mail the invites to the therapists' homes, and ask them to keep quiet about it at work so as not to insult him.

did I mention that one that I am inviting is a spiteful Biotch that would love to make me uncomfortable?!  I know I shouldn't give a crap I can invite who I want but I make myself feel so guilty.

So then why are you inviting her?

Because she would make my life a living hell.  I have to work with her all the time.  Office politics suck

Do you think this guy would be offended? Your wedding is only 1 day. You may have to work with these people for YEARS. If you think he'd be upset, I'd extend the invite

Can't you just invite the people you like and not let others know about it? Or just not invite anyone at all to save yourself a headache?

if u are leaving just 1 person out, i would extend the invite -a wedding is one day and like dana said you may have to work w/ them for years...and you have a 50/50 shot of them not coming...so if they reply with a no, then ALL is good! And even if no one mentions they got invited, you guys dont think  you'll be talking about it at work after!?

In a place that small, I would invite all the therapists.

I think you need to either invite all or none of them.

Since it is small you need to invite everyone or no one.  It is not right to leave one or two people out.

Either invite all or none. I work in a small office as well - trust me people talk the next day about the time they had and how nice you looked, etc. The ones not invited will know - so either invite all the therapists or none. I had a similar issue since I'm more friendly with some of my coworkers than others -- the ones I wasn't as friendly with ended up responding that they couldn;t make it anyway
