Poll: What's your favor?

We originally wanted to do a candy buffet, but 1) I don't really want to spend the money and 2) I don't really want to deal w/the hassle at the end of the night of bagging up the candy, repacking the glass jars etc. We're thinking of getting these cute glass jars I found and filling them w/aqua and lime green jelly bellies. We're both jelly belly freaks. We're having black table cloths so I also thought these would be cute to have at each place setting to add an extra pop of color to the tables. I think I can do this for under $175...where as a candy buffet would probably cost over $300. What do you think? What are you doing?

We're doing a candy buffet :) We are doing some of the cheap candies though. I've spent about $60 on glassware, favor bags, plan to spend about $150 more on the candy. My mom and aunt are in charge of this (as long as they pack up candy for us to take on the honeymoon!)I think your idea will look really cute on the tables!

I did caramel apples to match my green and brown color scheme. I also liked the idea of iced cookies to match my and my husband's jobs...he sells cars and I teach...so maybe a school bus and a little car. But the apples were a big hit!

We've been debating for some time about what to do and we've finally decided on cds. I know it sounds lame but since we're doing the movie theme it will be "music from and inspired by" our wedding. I really like your idea, clseale. The colors will look great on a black table cloth.

We did these, tied in sage ribbons with a butterfly tag saying Thank You, as well as matchbooks. Big hit!

We are having a beach theme wedding in October - although we are being married on Trout River - our favors are Wedding cake candles that look like the cake we have ordered. So our guest get to take home a miniature of our wedding cake!http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o289/smgyorkie/BeachCake.jpg

We are doing a candy buffet. I work in a candy shop, so I can get a pretty good deal on a wide variety of sweets :) And my family loves Yankee Candle, so I'm just washing out the big candle jars to use to put the candy in. I've already got about 6 jars and haven't spent a dime! :DWe're also thinking about making a CD with some of our favorite songs on it for guests to take home.
