Hi!  My husband and I are going to be moving in August.  We looked at apartments yesterday and really liked one that is at Greenwich and Christopher.  What's your opinion of that part of the neighborhood?  I'm not so familiar with that part of the West Village.Thanks!

    Hey there! So you won't be "uppereast"girl anymore!!?Personally, I hate Christopher, I won't walk down it. It's just so trashy and filled with really loud and rowdy people I can't stand it. Greenwich is really nice but it's a little too west so you have more of a walk to the subway. I am sure you are used to that though since you are an east sider. I am spoiled in my location so I couldn't imagine walking more than 2 minutes to get to major transportation.The apartments near Christopher are notorious for being small and rundown. I am interested to where exactly you guys would be looking if it was a different street. I am assuming if you liked it, it's probably really nice. There are SOOO many amazing places to go out for drinks/dinner/out I am in love with the neighborhood. I walk everywhere I go. Let me know if you want any tips or have any other questions!
