kent county online marriage license application...

has anyone else done this? i tried last night but got confused about my last name and didn't want to screw it up. my confusion: do i use my new last name as my "last name" my current as my "maiden"? or do i use my own last name for now and maiden blank? TIA!

    You're not alone! I was confused too. You put your current full name and then you will list your current last name again where prompted. Once you're married, you will SIGN your new name as the bride. You do not have an official new name until you say I do.

    thanks for the reply! so to clarify, in the "last name" slot, put my last name, and put the same last name in as my "maiden name"?haha, who knew it would be so confusing....
