I miss it

Did you like Rome? We did not get to see this close up because it was closed for the day.

You know, it was so miserably hot, that's all I could think about. I barely took pictures because I was just too hot to care. The second day we bought one of the hop on hop off bus tours, and that was the best thing ever. I'd like to go back when it's not so hot that I hate myself for being there. lol. We didn't get a chance to get all through that whole section as it was closing when we were about halfway through. We didn't get to the far end where there were temples and other things.

Yeah, Rome in the summer would not be fun as crowded as that city is. You should go visit in Dec. It is beautiful and the weather is mild-ish. Glad you got to go though!

We're thinking we'll do a post wedding tour of Italy and I'd like to go back then. It actually wasn't that crowded because we went on a Friday and Saturday so not too shabby.

Yeah, Colleen, we said that we would definitely do that again. I liked being able to just ride around sometimes and rest and get off where we wanted.

We did one in Paris too. We really liked not being stuck with the same people all day like on regular tours.

Oh that's for sure. There were some people on the buses that I just wanted to smack, but it was okay, because either they got off or we did.
