    photographers pitch it as something you can do in replacement or in addition to engagement pictures. they say that you can get all dressed up in your wedding attire, and the mood is more relaxed and less rushed...whereas your wedding day will be super crazy and hectic and you might not get the shots you want. another ploy from photographers to get you to spend more money (which totally works...)...and another excuse to wear your wedding dress again! =)
