I am ENGAGED!!!!!

Hello DE Boards,I know I have wrote on this board before asking questions but that was I was bored and interested in Wedding things.. NOW I have a reason! My FI proposed on our vacation in Los Cabos, Mexico on July 15th.... It was beautiful... Proposal plans were mixed up due to my digital camera break after 5 hours in Mexico :( *I am a picture taking freak* but the FI held strong and was flexible and made the night still amazing even with myself in complete hysterics over my camera. Anyways I am home from vacation and ready to get the ball rolling! We are thinking 10-9-10... First task to be completed is the Church... has anyone seen pictures of the inside of either St. Anthony's of Puada in Wilmington, DE or Holy Rosary Church in Wilmington, DE? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! We are thinking a fall colored weather... oranges and browns...We do not know any reception places yet... I am going to get on the ball and start researching! YAY! I cannot wait to make a page!! I am so excited to be engaged and to start the wedding planning!!Valerie

Congrats!  I thought your name look familiar. St. Anthony's of Padua is beautiful inside.  Parking is street parking though, which may be tough.  I've never been in Holy Rosary Church.  I'm having a fall wedding myself and my colors are red and orange, with a little green and yellow.  I would start looking for receptions site stat, cause they go fast.  Let me just say, The Farmhouse (where i'm getting married) has a beautiful setup in the fall, with different colored mums, and pumpkins and such.  They have an open house almost every weekend (check out website for details).  And, they include just about everything, which I love!  Happy planning!

Congrats and Welcome!  Everyone on here is really nice.St. Anthony of Padua is a beautiful church, however in my opinion I feel like it's a little dark inside.  I've never been to Holy Rosary.  I love fall weddings and the oranges and browns sound really pretty.  Good luck planning :-)

Congrats!!!  I went to a wedding in St Anthony's and it was beautiful.  Parking stunk but was quickly forgotten.
