Parent gifts

Hello,I'm trying to decide what we should get for our parents.  I don't really like anything I've seen in magazines or on-line.  We were thinking of just giving a card at the Rehearsal Dinner, and then giving a framed portrait once our photos were ready.  What do you think?  Also, any other ideas?

    I think thats a nice gift!  FWIW, we will be doing the same, a card/letter at rehearsal and a album from the photographer afterwards.

    Ditto Steph. We're giving my parents and his parents albums after the wedding and cards at the RD.

    We gave my parents  a gift card to a restaurant (they go to lunch together allthe time) a lenox picture frame and hankies. I will also be making them coffee table books
