Name Change process - I know its already been asked but i cant find it

What exactly do i need to do? did you have to get a certified copy of the marriage license before changing the name?

    You just need your id, ssn card, the form from ssn and your signed marriage license (which is your marriage certificate).  Make sure you go to the ssn office first then wait 72 hours before going to the dmv. I waited like a month thinking that an actual marriage certificate would come, but that's not the case.

    Doesn't the signed copy that Rev. Kita gave you have the raised seal? Mine does...apparently that's what you can use for the name change...
