  I asked this question a few months ago and I think what I got from it (or this is at least what I'm doing) is that anyone that owns their own business that is providing the service does not need a tip.  If someone who is performing the service works for the company, then I believe they get a tip.  And be sure to check with your venue to see if gratuity is built in to the cost.
