Is 10 hours enough?

If we have a 2pm ceremony and then a 6pm-11pm reception? That only gives me an extra hour for getting ready shots. I LOVE this photog: www.perceptionsphoto.combut they are really pricey :\ Only one photog for 10 hours. An extra photog is $995!! :(Photog = Tess' dreaded check.

10 hours is more than enough -- and one photographer should be fine! they know how to balance their time and get all the shots you want! a lot of photogs i met with said they leave before the very end anyway, after cake cutting, bc everyone is just wasted and embarrassing. ;)

LOL Court. I don't drink, but I'm sure I'll be a sweaty mess :PI'm also not sure if this is a good deal or not: 10 hours one photog/8 hours one video. One 8 x 10 album, two 5 x 7 albums, 75 wallets, 3 DVD copies of video and a free e-photo session for 5k. He knocked about $200 off the total price. I might ask him to add 2 more hours to the video. I seriously have no idea what I'm doing... lol

I am only having my photographers for 7 hours. He is getting to the hotel at 4pm for getting ready shots, ceremony is at 6:30pm, cocktail hours ends at 9:15pm and we cut the cake and do the garter at 11:00pm, which is right when he leaves. It's plenty of time! I would like two photographers no matter how many guests you have, just because you get a variance in the shots taken. While once photographer is taking a shot from inside the church, one may be taking a shot from outside the church. i just think it allows for more creative shots. I would definitely have two shooters over more hours if it were me :) HTH!

I agree that 10 hours should totally be enough!I had a tough time with Photography. Met with 7 and got proposals from like 30. It's a fun check though... at least I thought so b/c its fun to look at pictures!
