Stationery Question

Are y'all doing separate invites for your rehearsal dinner? I am so effing sick of adding expenses to my budget, I don't want to do them. Mine is super laid back, would it be terrible to do email invites?

I did fun BBQ invites from Vista Print. I used their Hawaiian template on the invites page, and did two separate orders of 10 because 10 invites are free, so all I paid was shipping (I think maybe $8 or less total)? A lot of our family doesn't do computers.

Wasted money in my opinion. I say e-vite all you want.

That's right I could do free invites from Vistaprint. Good point. Thanks for the reassurance CL!

No problem! Kaite's sound really cute and are a great option. I definitely wouldn't spend a lot of money.

I've been debating this idea a lot lately.  I think e-vites would be fine, but I'd mostly be worried about the people who don't have internet.  I think I might do that though so I don't have to spend the money on postage, and then put a little reminder in everyone's OOT bag.

I just emailed the BP and told them when and where. Easy peasy.

My SMIL sent some out she did herself, and I actually never got to see them until a couple of months after the wedding! I guess we weren't invited :)But, yeah, if everyone has an email, why not. Otherwise, you can get some really inexpensive ones at Target.

I have a cheap program called PrintMaster that I bought at Best Buy for $20. You can use it to make note cards, postcards and other stuff. I used it to design my RSVPs and my Rehearsal invites in post card size. I'm going to buy some nice paper from Michaels and print them at home. They're going to be inserts with my actual invitations and I'm adding a line to RSVPs to mark if they will be attending the rehearsal dinner (that will only be on the RSVP for the guests that are invited.)

We went to a wedding a few months ago with an evite for the rehearsal dinner.  It had a picture of the couple, was super cute, and very easy to RSVP.  However, the groom's family went CRAZY mad over it!
