    Holy WTF.  I knew Dexter was going to freak out but I had no idea how.  I'm so sad about Rita.

    His awkwardness is going to get him in MAJOR trouble.
    I hate Quinn.
    Aster is going to have a major meltdown.  (I was disappointed in her acting, though.)
    The guy in the bathroom was a prick.  Dexter could probably dig up reasoning to justify his actions.

    Ugh...I hated Rita. I'm happy to see her go. I did like seeing some of the history of him and Rita in the flashbacks.

    The scene with the kids was so hard to watch. I knew that was going to be bad, I just didn't know how bad.

    I also didn't expect that scene in the bathroom. Woah.

    Ali - did you watch Six Feet Under? Seeing Dexter in a funeral home was a little weird.

    No, I haven't seen Six Feet Under.  I liked Rita because it gave him humanity and showed that he can be a caring human being.  Without her, he thinks he has nothing (obviously he's mistaken because of Deb & the kids).  We saw the season finale on Saturday (thank you Netflix for getting that to us in the nick of time) and we were WTFing for a good few  hours after we watched it.

    Yeah....but Rita was also a huge PITA.

    I wonder what happened to make him turn back around? Was it Harry?

    What is up with Quinn? Why is he so interested in Rita's murder. Everyone is all like "Rita is family," but did they even really know her? I guess it is because she was Dexter's wife.

    I had actually hoped for a more emotional freakout a little sooner after her death, but at least he showed something.

    Aster irritates the hell out of me.  Dexter's sister needs to stop ho-ing it up.  The sexual tension between her and Quinn was obvious last season, but I did not expect them to get it on after cleaning up that bloody mess.  Ewww.
