Starts with a fire, and now my central a/c isnt working... I have to leave work early to meet the repair guy which means more lost $ since my summer job is hourly.Plus the unit is on the roof of my building so if it was damaged in the fire by any chance I will be arguing with insurance this week too I'm sure.I spent my morning driving around dropping my puppy at  my parents and our cat at MH's grandmothers and had a fight with MH about that.  He thought we should leave them home.  It was 80 degrees in the condo at 6am... no way was I leaving them alone all day in that!  It would have been one thing if one of us was there giving them cold water all day and keeping an eye on them, but alone?!  No way, he says animals are built to deal with heat.  He is so clueless sometimes!  :)Ok I am done whining now.  Thanks!

    I am being whiney and I know it.  I am trying to stop.  These things are out of my control, there is nothing to do but deal with and fix it.

    Aww, I'm really sorry. That really sucks. Hope insurance will cover it.I leave Tiki home w/o a/c. Hope I'm not horrible! I now let him wander around in the kitchen only (out of his crate). I have a fan that blows on him. I think he should be ok.

    Normally I wouldnt be too concerned, but we are a 3rd floor condo and it gets ridiculously hot in here sometimes.  I am here now and it isnt too bad but I didnt want to risk.  I didnt know if I was coming home early or not.I think it was hotter this morning then it is now.

    Yeah it was pretty hot this morning. I felt bad, but I think he will be fine. I have plenty of water for him to drink.
