Gift for the Groom

I know this has been asked multiple times - but I just did a search for it and nothing came up...3 more days and I still have no idea what to get my FI as a wedding gift (shouldn't marrying me be enough? lol...j/k).  I can't get him a watch because he already has two very nice ones that he hardly wears... I can't get him cufflinks because he has no reason for them.  I thought about going the golf club route, but that isn't something he can hold on to forever (assuming he would even want a gift that he could do that with).  Any other ideas?  I think I'm spending my day off tomorrow shopping...

Since he already has watches, what about a nice men's valet that you could have engraved for him to keep his watches and future purchases in as well?

Maybe buy him something for a hobby of his? I know my fiance was much more happy with a pair of ski boots,a fishing pole, hunting equipment over a new watch....but that is my fiance for you! But maybe something more useful? Men seem to like that type of thing. HTH

A digital frame that he can put pics of the wedding, honeymoon trip, etc on and display on his desk at work?We didn't give gifts to each other, except for the wedding rings, obviously.  :) You don't have to do gifts at all.

I really dont think you NEED to buy him a gift. Its not like its written down somewhere as a rule. Just for fun im giving him boudiour picture album. and i know for a fact hes not going to get me anyting-- (hes not that super romantic type) so i mean you dont have to get him a gift, if ANYTHING.... i think writing him a card telling him how you feel before walking down the aisle will make him smile :)

I know that I don't NEED to get him a gift; however, it is traditional (we are very traditional people) and I WANT to give him a gift. The problem was that I wanted something unique and I just feel at such a loss. Plus, I know that he's getting something for me. I do like the idea of a travel valet... or something for a hobby of his. He'd be way more into those things than the typical watch/cufflinks.
