  I ma in the exact same situation.  Honestly, I have stayed at Somerset Hills and was NOT impressed...the rooms are old and gross.  

  
  

  I've tried numerous times to contact Hotel Indigo, but no luck...their customer service is not so hot.  that's probably clue #1 for me.

  
  

  I think there is a Marriott up there too.  A bit pricy and we need 20 rooms for a shuttle.  I am not positive I can get that many so....  forget that idea.

  
  

  Last, is Best Western. I know it sounds funny, but I need to check it out.  They serve hot and cold breakfast and their price is right!!!!  the website looks fine.. I know pictures are deceiving.

  I haven't called Best Western yet but that's next on my list...the reviews I read were not that favorable. Reviews of the Marriott were better, but I didn't know about the 20-room minimum in order to get a shuttle...that's going to be tough for me to guarantee, too. Grr!

  We are getting married at the Primavera in July too! our room block is with the Courtyard Marriott.  Other than working with the horrible person to get the contract, everything has been great.  THe new person we are working with is very helpful.  Hotel Indigo we didn't like because only 1 person is at the desk at a time, and couldn't show us the rooms, so we decided to skip it.  Best Western was disgusting. and Somerset Hills was just too expensive with the shuttle being $30 both ways.

  I'm also getting married at Primavera...we are using the Courtryard Marriott in Basking Ridge.  I know there have been some mixed reviews, but the good seems to out weigh the bad.  I agree with PP that it was difficult in the beginning because the contact woman was a little bit difficult to reach, but everything has been great since.  We were told 10 rooms to guarantee the shuttle to and from Primavera.  I also checked into the Bridgewater Marriott but they did not provide a shuttle to Primavera.

  We're having our wedding at the Primavera as well. Our room block will be at the Hotel Indigo. I don't know how easy it's been to contact them because my planner has been handling all of the hotel stuff. She did say that she has had good experiences there and pretty poor ones at the Somerset Hills Hotel.
  Also we stayed at the Marriott when we attended a wedding at the Primavera and we had to wait in a line to check in because there was only one person at the front desk and she was also in charge of running the store.
  The hotel Indigo is giving us a great rate with the shuttle and breakfast included for a very small fee.

  I work in the area and you can try the Dolce Hotel in Basking Ridge...it's lovely! I actually looked their for my wedding (but the only room they had available was a stale looking conference room). But I took a look at the hotel rooms and they are very nice. And I hold a lot of work-related charity events there, and they've always been helpful.
