Poll: If you had to get married on SOBE...

where would you have it? Imagine you must get married anywhere on Sobe or Miami Beach - anywhere but the Fountainblue or Eden RocGo! :)

Are you still in search of a venue?I dunno the names of beach venues that well.  Would it be possible to rent the Colony Theater?  I'm dreaming here.

I am getting married in miami beach, but we are not going the hotel route. Using Miami Beach Botanical Gardens and bringing EVERYTHING in.

The Fontainbleau... but I'd have to change the ballroom b/c I don't like the ballroom. That's not actually south beach but it's close enough. Otherwise the Raliegh or National would be cool too...

oops posted too quick. Missed the part about not the fontainbleau or Eden roc...Def would say the Raliegh (it's very cool if you want something less traditional) or The National.

Hi there! Long time no post.  I actually checked out the National while I was there and I highly recommend it.  Jamie Lipman is really nice; I think she's the catering manager, but she also will coordinate the wedding for you.  I thought it was a terrific venue. I opted for the Grove Isle instead because I wanted a more private feeling;  the National Hotel is in the middle of the beach and I just found it to be a little too busy for what I was looking for.  We wanted a more private setting. I still the National is awesome.  The prices were reasonable and they do everything for you so you don't really need to hire outside help.  I think it's ideal if you're out of town. Just my two cents!
