can i just have SOMETHING GO RIGHT!?

soo..my friend who is making the cake....wont be able to make it to the wedding...

umm...who is setting up the cake? :-/ i wont be able too cuz ill be umm you know.. GETTING READY!!! its a 3 tier..but its on the cake stand..so its like 3 separate cakes... im thinking just having FI take it to the reception and put it on the cake stand before the ceremony....i mean..if it was a 3 tier cake it would be WAY MORE of an issue..but its not...thank God!!! 

is it may 20 yet..so the only thing i have to worry about is my honeymoon and what im wearing..lol

    I hear you on this one! About the cake, are you (or someone you know or wedding planner/day of coordinator) responsible for decorating the reception location? I would think it would be easiest to get them to set it up and be responsible for it if possible. Maybe your friend could drop it off somewhere neutral the day before (if it can be frozen/chilled) like your parents house or if the venue will keep it in a fridge overnight? Hope this works out. I would try and get someone whos already involved in the day whose NOT in the wedding party to try and take care of it, if not a DOC maybe your mom or fmil?
