Hello!I'm trying to decide on a photographer and I would love to hear all of your recommendations.  Who are you using and approx. how much are you spending (if you don't mind me asking! )thanks so much! :) P.S. I live in the Woodbury area.

    Hi! I used Julie Diebold. She was amazing and her prices are great! I think her packages start at $1,100.00. I believe they are listed on her website. www.photographybyjulia.com HTH!

    We are using Melissa Chinici she is great. Her prices are on her website I believe it's Melissachinici.com we are paying around $1175.

    I wanted pricing this time...I couldn't find pricing on all of the websites and a lot of people recommended the same photographers so I wanted some more.  I'm really interested in both of their photographers. Is that a good enough explanation? HA

    Gotcha. Just thought you were maybe setting the stage for all of our wonderful vendors/knotties to come on and do some photog bashing, since it's been a few weeks since they were able to bad mouth their competitors.My mistake. :-)

    We're using Lalee Photography - we just had our engagement shoot this weekend, and Lauri is really wonderful to work with.  I haven't gotten photos back yet, but the work on her website looks fantastic.  We're doing a basic package for $2500.

    We are using Sarah Schulte and her packages start at $2500.  If you are looking to stay under that, Photography by Julia and Melissa Chinici look amazing like PP said!  GL!

    If you have all the names and websites, why don't you just call or email the ones that you liked from your original list?The thing with relying on knotties for pricing is that 1. the prices change frequently and have likely gone up and 2. many many packages are customized so what someone else gets from a photog might be totally different from what you might get.

    I am using Intrigue in Haddonfield.  I just got my e-pics back. I don't know what your price range is but if you want to take a look at my pics for an idea of what his work looks like I can email you with some of them and the pricing list (if I still have).HTH

    I used Bob LoRusso.  He was absolutely wonderful..love me pics so far.  His prives are on his website.Lorussostudios.com

    We are also using Melissa Chinici - My FI found her on craigslist actually, we met with her and she is absolutely great!! (melissachinici.com) - her prices vary and I believe we're just getting the basic package which only starts at about $900!! and you can get add-ons like albums which are only an additional $150 or so - we're on a major budget and photogs seemed to be so expensive so when we found her we were in love!! HAHA GL!

    Larrysdarling- I will be doing that....as stated above I said that many knotties recommended the same photographers and I wanted to here more opinions.

    We are using Terence Alimario from AlimarioPhoto, we found him through a referral on this board :) He was a little on the higher end of our budget but he was able to customize a package to specifically meet our needs. http://www.alimariophoto.com/

    We are using Alimario Photo also. He customized a package for us also and it was a lot less than I thought it was going to be. We had our engagement session with him a few weeks ago and the pictures are great!

    zanyjayme that's so exciting! Where did you go for your engagement shoot with him? I know he said a lot of couples go to the train station around where he is located.

    We choose the train station too. We brought our dogs with us and thought that would probably be better for them then having people walking around the park and distracting them. Are you guys getting yours done soon? I know there was someone on this board looking for a '57 chevy. For some reason I though was you? Am I wrong?

    Yeah from the pics he showed us the station looked really cool. Not sure when we are getting them done, I didnt really think about it...How far in advance do you usually get them done? 57 chevy... no it wasnt me.

    We actually had engagement pictures done by Photography by Julia (who is good friends with T Alimario) in November. But she found out she is pregnant and due right around our wedding so we switched over to Alimario. And since his packages include engagements sessions we decided to do one with him too just to get to know him a little better. And we had those done at the beginning of July. I say to have them done in whatever season you want them in. I wanted fall pictures that's why we did our first ones in November.Sorry that was probably longer than it needed to be.

    Hello I just met with my photographer today her name is Tina Mc Kendry-Yocum and we discussed our details and she has been doing this for awhile she explained everything to me and blah blah , she customized a package for me for about 700 bucks and she will be there from beginning to end, she gives the cd of pictures to you, you keep the rights to your pictures, makes the albums, && etc. Her pictures are excellent. She travels to around the tri-state area. I thought i was going to spend over 1,000 dollars and she is really flexable with the payments and she is really easy to talk to . Message me if you are interested in her and i will give you her information. P.S she will travel to meet you .
