ORGAN WEDDING MUSIC

okay so i asked the church today (greek church) if i could have something else done than the organ lady and they said no. The ony thing i can do is ask the organ lady if she can play certain music (and it cant be anything like hip basically) I DO NOT want to hear 'here comes the bride' i just want soft music playing the whole time. Any suggestions for the organ lady :)

our seating music was mostly bach.  i didn't really care what it would be since i wouldn't be hearing it and left that up to the organist. the music for the seating of our readers, grandparents, and mothers was jesu joy of man's desiring.bridesmaid processional music was canon in d.i entered to trumpet voluntary, waaayyy better than here comes the bride IMO.during our unity candle we had the organist play one god, this was played at my in laws' wedding ceremony so that was the reasoning behind that one.recession was traditional....mendelsohn's (sp?) bridal march.HTH!

I'm so psyched our church is allowing us to use the instrumental version of "Storybook Love" from The Princess Bride for the bridesmaids' procession :-D
