With May almost here let's vote on our next siggy. I'll let this carry out until next Friday and then make a post about the official next siggy.
Edit: After several people commented on the suggestion of pets I have decided that we should take this out of the running. Please do not vote for pets since I cannot take it out of the poll. Please vote for another option if you have not voted yet.

Well, yours is way more emotional than mine. My FI and I had our Beta for a year and a half. He used to bang on the glass when he was hungry and literally do flips in his tank when we would come home from work. We used to have him sitting on his dinner table so we would literally eat meals with our fish and he had a lot of human interaction until his roomies cat was caught drinking the Beta water. I did cry like a baby when he died and my FI and I even held a funeral for him...we made a coffin out of a cufflinks tin and burried him with his skull and crossbones and rocks and plants....I know we are super weird but we loved that stinking fish. I even have a pic if it ends up winning. But I hope it doesn't.

I understand your feelings. I had a beta fish that my high school boyfriend bought me, and it came with me to college (after we broke up) and I swear it knew when I was lonely freshman year and would come over to the side of the tank to comfort me. His name was Petey and I loved him. He lived for almost 3 years, and when he died I was soooo upset. I remember having a huge fight with FI about it because he wasn't very supportive when Petey died, but it turned out he thought Petey was my way of holding on to my ex boyfriend. It wasn't, I just loved that fish.
I'm so sorry to hear about everyone's deceased pets. Hopefully people will read all this before they vote and something else will win.
