ALDRICH MANSION

I am in LOVE!!!!! My only concern is that my guests at the dinner would have to be in separate rooms.  Has anyone ever had or been to a wedding there???  I would also need a place to have the ceremony before the reception if I chose Aldrich as I cannot get married in the church (my fiance is jewish, i am catholic) and am thinking a hotel in Providence would be most convenient...Thoughts???

Never been to a wedding there... but if you need a ceremony place that's not that church, I'd check the hotels in the Warwick area before going to the Providence ones. If you had a room block for out of town guests at the same hotel, it would make it really easy for them. GL!

I was just married there. There is the Chapel by the Sea right there, and I think it is non-demonitational. There are quite a few churches in the area. The separate rooms worked for us, it was an Italian-Irish wedding. We loved that part. They do a great job at the mansion, the food is delicious. My only complaint is the dance floor is smaller than I'd like, but depending on how many people there are it might not be an issue.Page me if you have any more questions, good luck!

I was married there last year as well.  Everyone had a blast.  There wasn't an issue with the separate rooms.  I think it actually made it seem more formal and old fashioned.  No one had any complaints about it.We got married at the on-site chapel, so I can't comment on that aspect.  We had a room block at the Sheraton in Warwick and everything was great.  I'd recommend them.  I loved the staff at the mansion, the food was fantastic, and the setting of the mansion was just amazing.  I'd do it again there in a heartbeat.  If you have questions or want to see pictures feel free to send me an email at jensorenson05 at gmail dot com
