    I confess that I have not gone to the gym in a week and I have not cut back on food. I feel so gross.

    I confess that I just blew most of my (pretty small) tax return check on the dog because he needed a new car restraint (he outgrew his travel bag), he was behind on his shots, and he REALLY needed a professional groomer to take care of his Clydesdale feet . (The hair grows past his footpads and he won't let me trim his feet or nails at home, so every few months I have to take him to a groomer to do it, and no groomer will take a dog whose Rabies shot isn't current.)

    But the vet says he's healthy, he's up to date on vaccines, he's clean and trimmed, and he has a nice new seatbelt to keep him safe on car trips. So I think it was worth the money spent.

    Me too! I have 3 months until the wedding I have to get on it! You are already so pretty and thin you can take a week off! Just get back in tonight or this weekend.

    I further confess that R's mother makes me borderline homicidal some days with her nitpicking at details and trying to find a way to make everything my fault.

    She called R today strictly to complain that I hadn't warned her about any of the baby shower details. She didn't want to talk about anything else - just wanted to complain that I hadn't told her when, where, and what time the baby shower would be before the invitations were sent out. Apparently these details are problematic for her and her schedule. I'm not planning or hosting the shower. My mother is. I didn’t know any of the details prior to Mom's sending the invitations. I only knew that she was planning on throwing it. So there is no possible way I would have been able to “warn” her or anyone else.

    I swear, most of the time it’s like the woman tries to create any excuse to be perturbed at me over any tiny thing.

    I confess my boyfriend's mother's request for me to buy her the exact same make up I use made me feel a little strange as I do not think we are the same shade...it's not bad, but it's kind of weird!

    I went back this AM. It felt good! You've been doing well with your workouts, you'll definitely get there, don't worry!

    @Beloved - maybe it's better that your mom scheduled your shower on a date that's not convenient for your FMIL. I'd take it as a blessing in diguise, hah!

    @Sonali - she wants the same, exact shade? Or same brand? Does she usually wear her foundation / power in a lighter shade?
