    DD is when a poster, usually the OP deletes her post.  It's particularly disheartening when the OP does this as it deletes the entire thread and all the other posts that were attached to it.

    Started off as a fairly standard "My MOH won't help me plan the wedding" post but then devolved into two other grievances:-MOH was doing a lot of what OP wanted, but the MOH didn't WANT to do it of her own accord.  Said MOH is therefore guilty of thoughtcrime.-MOH dared to wear white to the bridal shower.  Apparently the bride is supposed to have that color reserved for her for the shower (?).  I guess I committed a faux pas at my shower by wearing yellow.

    it's like DD-ville all over the boards today.I honestly don't get DD's.  It's not like we KNOW the person.  Why DD ?

    (*hits sarcasm button*) totally leah. i'm glad you finally realized it.ok for real, i can't believe somebody was mad about someone wearing white to her bridal shower. are you flipping kidding me? oh i forgot, as soon as someone gets engaged the color white is off-limits to everyone but the bride in all social situations.i think some people need to listen when they speak and hear their voices echo as they fall off the deep end and straight into a big tub o' crazy.

    I wore a coral sweater and black pants to my shower. I have no idea what anyone else was wearing without looking at photos.

    I was told by my FSIL that I couldn't wear white to the engagement part because only the bride or MOB are supposed to wear it.  I really don't get people like this.
