Spying!!

So, the FI and I are going spying today.  Our venue is holding a wedding tonight so we are gonna "casually" walk by to see how its decorated to get ideas.  Also, I hope see where the bride and groom are taking pictures around the site to get some ideas.  The venue is just starting their wedding business (Its the Tulalip Resort) so they don't really have a varity of pictures to show us.  The ones they have are nice, but totally not our style so its hard to visualize how to decorate it in there!!  There is a wedding today and the next one is Sept 5. Has anyone else done this? :)

I don't know if it's spying per se, but I drive by my wedding venue once every couple of months or so just to look at it. My venue is so pretty :)

I should do that!! Since we're getting married there next July. Tell me how it goes, oh and how many people are you all having at yours? We're renting out three of the chinook rooms, how are you doing it? Yeah, I'm curious about where they are taking pics too

The trip today was a big disappointment!! They didn't do any decorating.  The only thing was the chairs were different than the ones they show in their pictures so I am not sure if they were rented or not.  I hope not because I really like them!!  I didn't see the bride or groom anywhere, they weren't even taking pictures in the pool area an hour before the ceremony so maybe they are doing pictures after.Brandy - email me to talk Tulalip :) - - ahuette at gmail dot com.

Bummer! Sorry your spying wasn't so fruitful.I love Tulalip. I wish I could have my wedding there, but we have too many OOT guests and travel from the airport to the venue could get tricky. I would totally spend my free time playing penny slots instead of taking photos :)

seblagg- getting guests from seatac wouldn't be so bad actually. Tulalip has a shuttle running from there to the airport at all times during the day. Just lettin ya know!

Really? I didn't know that. How great! My wedding's only a couple months away, so I can't change that now, but that's good to know for future reference. :)
