Why did you choose to have your wedding on Cape Cod?

This board is really dead so I thought I would ask why you chose to get married on Cape Cod. Please share!

    While not from the Cape, we vacation here every summer, and frequently make impromptu day trips at any time of the year just to be closer to the water.  I keep seeing posts with people talking about how much more expensive it is to get married on the cape.  We have a very modest budget, and while we are having our wedding at a less traditional location, the main wedding venues on the cape were no more expensive than any of the other venues I priced out (and I looked everywhere from the north shore to southern RI)!  Weddings are just expensive when you are looking at using "wedding" vendors....
