to dj or not to dj at glen sanders mansion

I am having a smaller wedding of around 50-60 people, but it does seem to be gearing more towards 60 in march 2010. We would like to have a Dj but we are not sure if the expense is worth it. Does anyone know of responbly priced dj's in the schenectady area?

We used Greg Frasier.  Paul Malo is also supposed to be good.

We used AJ the DJ and got a pretty reasonable price. The price is directly affected by the amount of time you need the DJ. So that can also be taken into consideration.  Also what is your alternative if you don't get a DJ, silence?  Just want to make sure you have a plan b.  Good Luck!

we are getting married at GS in 3 weeks, I am so excited! Will you be using the room downstairs? or the ballroom. as for the dj- it really depends on the crowd. if there will be a fair number of young people to dance then maybe you could book a dj for part of the night but not the entire? maybe have some jazz playing during dinner and a dj for a few hours after? not sure how that is feezible with setup but it could be a possibility

we had about 100 people at our wedding and definitely would not have had it without a DJ. We used Tim Wedeman of Albany AMS! he is awesome!!!!
