Update - dress fiasco

Hi all!I went to the bridal store yesterday and spoke to the owner of the store, AJ, and she was amazing.  She didn't have to reorder it because she identified all of the problems personally told me they could all be fixed.  She measured every inch of my dress and compared it to the showroom model  - finding out that one of the major differences was the thickness and angle of ribbon at the waistline.  She also said that there was lots of excess fabric under the dress from the first 2 alterations sessions which changed the shape, and she is building a lot more bust support in it, raising the neckline on my body, and tightening the dress around my torso better.  She personally pinned me all up and told me she would have her best seamstress work on my dress.  It looks like it's going to turn out perfectly!  No more ugly midget bride anymore!  Woo!  haha.  I have pics but can't seem to locate my USB cord right now so I will post pics later.  But thank you all who gave me supportive words.....and I think everything looks like it will work out well at the end.

    What a relief :)!  I'm so happy for you - it sounds like it will turn our perfectly.  I thought AJ would take care of it for you - she seemed really proactive when I spoke to her.  I can't wait to see pics.

    Wow! That's great!! What a blessing she was not rude or unhelpful. I'm so glad you got that figured out! Post pics when everything is fixed up:)

    I'm really glad it's working out for you. :o) That would have been a huge pain to reorder so that's great they'll just be able to work with it. Thanks for keeping us updated! Let us know when you get the finished product.
