  We got a bunch of the big stuff:

  pots and pans

  kitchen aid mixer and food processor

  knives

  
  

  But I really want all the necessities: dishes, trash can, etc.

  We haven't registered yet since we're still really early in the planning process but I'm dying to! I really want the Swarovski crystal toasting glasses..impractical I know but I love them.

  I am so excited for my kitchenaid mixer!

  We don't have a huge list because we already have a lot of things, but I am very excited for the mixer.

  Just had my shower yesterday and I was so excited to get the kitchenaid mixer! I'm not even much of a baker, but somehow I seem to think having the mixer will fix it. A bunch of the wives of FI's friends went in on it together and they even gave me recipes from each of their kitchens. Very fun!

  I've only registered for a couple of things on Amazon, but I already know I really want a duvet for our bed. We only have one right now and taking it off to wash it can be such a hassle.

  our shower is in 4 weeks!!!  I really want our toasting flutes and the throw pillows for our bed (one says Mr. and another says Mrs.), eekkk, so cute!!  it's taking everything in me not to log on and see if those items get purchased.  I'm trying to be good though cause I want to be surprised.
  
  Eitherway, I'm beyond greatful for whatever we do receive and blessed to have so many wonderful family and friends to share this time with. )

  We were surprised that we started getting "wedding" gifts for other events - like our engagement (Tiffany toasting flutes w/monogram and date) birthdays, christmas, etc.  It's fun to NOT STALK the registry - because the element of surprise is so much more exciting and true when you haven't already figured it out and know what to expect.
  
  What we want most now that my bridal showers are getting close...?  Probably a lot of our Crystal we wouldn't buy ourselves - Tumi Luggage for the honeymoon - and our bar...like the actual bar (furniture) as well as the decanters, stemware, beertender, etc.  But even when we get little stuff like a set of china or set of glasses we still get really excited!
