    Ok.I did the practice run of my dress.  I don't know what made me think I could make a wedding dress (except not wanting to pay for one), but it was a disaster.  It's now being made by a professional.Menu is set.  All the RSVPs are in, sort of.  I'm not sure why people had such difficulty checking boxes and mailing an already stamped card within three weeks, but apparently that's tough stuff.Wedding party outfits are... sort of set.  Actually, the womenfolk are being kind of a pain.  They keep asking me what I want them to wear, and insisting that they can't choose their own outfits (despite dressing themselves daily) because I'm the BRIDE, but when they bring me several dresses they own for me to choose from and I choose one, they say "Are you sure you want THAT one?  How about this one?  I think this one will look better..." and on and on.  Level with me: wtf do they want from me?

    Kuus, #1 made me smile. I'm glad you enlisted some help, and didn't just go with it. Do we need to do the same with the makeup?:)

    The makeup!  I forgot.  I'm doing my own makeup (I have two books and lots of practice, and I think it looks pretty good), but I'm having the lady at the MAC counter put the fake eyelashes on me.The hair is still a work in progress.

    Sorry, TT.  Your invitation got cut when I had to pay someone to make my dress and when we noticed the mandatory 20% gratuity for food and beverages.  Actually, several people got cut from the list that way.

    You know, people keep asking us and our parents about registries.  It has been such an effort trying to convince Mr. Kuus not to tell people "Oh, just give us money."
