Hello,I am not practicing jew and my FI is a non-practicing Methodist. We would like to bring some elements of both religions to our ceremony. Any recommendations?Thanks

    I am neither, but I've always thought that the chuppah was quite lovely--could you use that tradition?  My sister is a Methodist, and she describes it as the "middle of the road" Christian church.  I've attended several services with her when I visit, and it seems to be a very welcoming church.  Perhaps just a prayer or blessing for both of you might be nice.  Who is performing your ceremony?  That might make a difference.

    I'm non practicing either. I plan on having my "uncle" (dad's best friend) recite the 7 wine blessings and Fi wanted to crush the glass.
