so i secretly have been planning to have bpics taken tomorrow. i've been trying to keep it a secret so i won't slip and tell fi...

well today i accidentally mentiond it to him. DEVIL! the day before.. i couldn't keep it one more day?? damn me, i'm sooooo mad!

needless to say, i'm not doing them now. once the cat was out of the bag, he told me he didn't want me doing them anyway... he said he'd love tos ee pics of me but he doesn't want any one else seeing pics of me.. ie, people making posters/books whateva.. he is nuts.. and i had a mini meltdown.. i was looking forward to them!

    Oh Sara! I am so sorry! Maybe we could help you think of something fun or maybe a TTD session afterwards. I'm sure my FI would think it was weird too if I told him but I'm going to try to keep it a secret. I'm sure he has never heard of them. I do understand that after you take them, they are a very personal item that is only shared between the two of you. So it's kinda like a secret forver which is kinda hard.

    Ok one more thing...could you do another type of shoot of just beautiful pictures of you?! IDK. I'm sorry that seems like a big let down.

    Whaaaaaat!!?  Seriously. The FI doesn't want you to do them!? My FI would be ecstatic. Still not sure if I'm doing them (I might wait till our 1 year).  But really? What a bummer!!  I mean, I guess it can be considered sweet that he wants to "keep you all to himself" or something, but still...sad, you had one day to go. :(

    Just do it for you. There isn't anything wrong in that. DH found out about mine. He was still excited to see them and suprised by how awesome the pictures were.

    Sorry you let it slip :( But do them anyway!!!! They don't have to be all full on nudies! There are so many bpics I've seen that are sexy and hot without revealing anything that your FI might feel possessive off that wouldn't be seen in a swimsuit anyway. I had asked my FI about them and he didn't see any point to them. :( That actually bugged me more than if he had felt possessive. If I had the money, I would do it anyway because some day my body will have sagged after having kids and wrinkly with old age and I'll love being able to look back at attractive great pictures of myself and say, Dang! I looked good! :)

    yeah.. i still want to do them but we'll see.... i cancelled all my appts.. it just sucks.

    I agree with PPs.  If you want to do them, do them!  You don't want to not and then in the future wonder what if you had.  Sucks.  I know I've caught myself a couple times thisclose to letting it slip.  Yikes!  I totally say do it!

    Bummer!!! Well I agree with the other ladies you should do them if you really want to but maybe you should talk with your FI first so it doesnt cause any additional stress and let him know that you won't be totally naked and that no one else will see them and its something that you really want to do and it would make you happy! :)

    I agree i think u should do it, even if its just u who enjoys them (for now).  I can get your FI perspective and wanting to not share u, but It would be something really special to have.  Especially 50 years from now when everything is going south.
