  Have you tried looking at Golf Clubs and having the ceremony outside? That is the closest to a backyard type, I can think of. I am having my wedding at Moreno Valley Ranch Golf Club. Ceremony will be outside, Reception inside. Its a lovely plave. There is also the Indian golf club, I heard is nice. Just an idea. Goodluck with your search!

  We haven't booked it yet, but are hoping to get married at Oak Canyon Nature Center in Anaheim Hills.

  There is a beautiful venue in Temecula, Villa de Amore. It's a family run private estate and it's GORGEOUS! My friend got married there last year, it was the best wedding I have ever been too. Highly recommended!
