When to send invitations?

How far in advance are you all sending your invitations?

I sent our formal invitations out 4 months before the wedding.

I sent mine out about 3 months in advance and my AHR invites will be sent out wither right before we leave or right after we get back.

I sent out STDs about 12 months in advance, formal invites 3 months in advance, and AHR invites will end up being about 2 months in advance.

I am planning on sending my invites out in the middle of June. RSVP is July 31st and the wedding is Sep. 7th.
