dj and florist help!!

Hi everyone,I'm new on here! Getting married in May 2010 up in Palm Beach.I have narrowed my DJs down to Liquid and Vision...anyone recommend one over the other?Also, I met with JMorgan flowers and loved her! Just wanted to compare with someone else. Does anyone recommend another up in this area? Thanks all! :)

    HI & welcome!!!!   I am using Vision Djs and have been VERY happy with them so far, but I've also heard AMAZING things about Liquid - I don't think you can go wrong with either :) Maybe bounce prices off each other to see who gives a better deal? I love my florist - Forget Me Not flowers in Weston - But that may be a bit too south for you... JMorgan seems to do beautiful work, sounds like you are in good hands! :)

    Palm beach county bride?! yay!I almost went with Vision DJs...They seemed to be very professional and Jorge A is very nice. The only thing that made me think twice is that the contract says they cant guarentee either of the Jorges can DJ your wedding, even with the extra fee (which would be refunded in the event they couldn't do it).  However, I'm sure that any of the other 7 DJs working for them are qualified and make a good party :)I ended up going with Jim Breen from Tradewinds. He is also playing guitar for cocktail hour.     Hi Welcome.  I am also using Vision DJ's.  I did what Courtney said bounce prices off and Vision came up $150 less than Liquid DJ's.  They are also going to be doing my uplights. As far as florist I am no help I haven't started that yet.GL! =)

    I'm using Vision as well and so far I'm happy with the service but until the actual wedding its hard to say. As for florists... I can't help b/c I'm still working on that!

    I met with Vison DJs but once I met Shannon at Liquid I had to book him. He also worked with me to give me a great deal on my music and lighting. I am really excited about him doing our wedding. I found him on Wedding Wire and there were tons of great reviews as well. For florists I'm working with Joan at Tropical Elegance. They are located in Pompano Beach and she is a sweetheart and does great work. Hope that was helpful.

    I used JMorgan for my flowers. They were fantastic. As for DJ we used Kenny Mondo Entertainment, and had them for both live music and a dj and loved them! You might want to check them out.

    I think both companies are very professional but based on great recommendations from other girls on this forum we decided to go with Liquid DJs. Shannon is great, he gave us a really good deal and he has the best price for uplighting. There are many girls who use them here.

    Yay for PB! Where's your venue? I agree w/ pp both have gotten amazing reviews from past brides. We hired Shannon from Liquid. He was our first DJ mtg and we were sold from his personality and knowledge. I'm meeting with him again next week to talk about lighting for the ballroom, can't wait!Also, just to add if you want to meet I'm planning a g2g for this Sat after 5 in WPB if you can make it!
