Seaview Dolce in Galloway

Hey.. we're thinking of booking the Seaview Dolce Resort in Galloway and I was wondering if anyone has been there (specifically since they've changed owners in March 09) and could give me some feedback... and how is the food there?

    I just had my wedding there July 19th.  Please email me for specifics-  what I will say is that I have mixed reviews for my experienceKaren

    My Fi and I booked there for our wedding next summer(july 17, 2010). The grounds are gorgeous and I love the history of the place. We just had our tasting this past Sunday and we were extremely impressed. The food was great especially the hor'derves. I asked them about there switch from Marriott to Dolce since I was really concerned with anything changing in our contract. Luckily nothing is changing and they told us that they were never really owned by Marriott they just did the management, so they switched managements to Dolce. So far everything is going well!     Hello!I just had my Wedding at Seaview, A Dolce Resort on 8/1/2009. I originally booked with the hotel when it was a Marriott. We were a little concerned about the transition at first, but the staff was confident in reasuring us that everything is fine and there was no reason to be worried. My wedding day really was a dream come true. The staff is wonderful and great to deal with. I have one word to describe the food and that it EXCELLANT!!! There is not one bad thing to say about this facility. I would highly reccomend Seaview to any friend, relative or associate. Good Luck all you future brides!!!     Karen, I am considering having my wedding at Seaview. What were your concerns??? I have a hold there and at another location and what you have to say might help my decision. Eveyone else's feedback seems really good though. I havent really heard anything bad about Seaview. Ahhh I have to decide this week, lol...Thanks!Jessica
