Marriage Prep courses

Online? Through a church? Anyone have any thoughts or ideas? We were going to do it through our church originally but it's a 6 week course for almost 2 hours each sunday morning and with school and everything else it just isn't going to work. We are considering the online one...I'm just curious if anyone else has any thoughts or ideas? I don't feel like we "need" it...but I guess you can never be too sure.

Maybe the pastor who is marrying you can do a shorter "course" with you and your FI on other days?

:) We hired an officiant...they offer an online course which is the one we are considering and will likely go by. We aren't doing a religious ceremony.

I use to work for a counselor who does them. He can work with any time schedule and he is really easy to talk to. Email me if you would like his info johnandcharisma@aol.com. hth!

We decided to do pre-marital counseling even though we don't 'need' it... as a counselor, I think everybody should go through counseling at some point, and at what better time then to figure out each other! No matter which direction you go through, I think its definitely a good thing!
