My FI and I are HUGE fans of pastelitos from Tommys Bakery -- every one of our friends know that when theres a party and those yummy treats are there we attack the table! lol So, were giving out as a midnigth snack little gable takeout boxes with Tommy's Bakery pastelitos and ofcourse cafe con leche lol it screams Cuban but thats us =) Not too original but i think everyone will see its one of our "things"

A wedding I once went to had a "wish bowl". There were slips of paper in the wedding colors and the guests wrote down wishes and messages for the bride and groom and put it in a nice vase that they had. After the wedding, the bride made a scrapbook with all the wishes. I thought that was a cute idea.

well we are going out of book and we are having the venezuelan tradition which is called La Hora Loca. its a venezuelan tradition in which for an hour people party like mardi gra and they have masks and beads and put crazy moving songs ymca electric slide that kind of music but the difference is our will be the cuban version of it so we are putting some spice into it.

What about a note at each bar with your monogram etc. on it stating "Please don't drink and drive your safety is important to us" and then putting a few phone numbers to the local taxi cab companies!  I did that at my wedding and so many people were impressed with how thoughtful and detailed it was to do that. Also do you have children going to your wedding? If so what about a coloring book for them... If you want a template I can e-mail you one! My e-mail is MelissaHernandez01@yahoo.comHope this was helpful and good luck to you!!!! =)

I am having a capuccino cart with freshly baked croissants and pastelitos... My wedding is in February so I think this is something for my guests to have a lil something to eat before they go home. I was also going to have a petit fours station for dessert, but I may have indivudual desserts instead. I think performers are always a nice touch and add to the party. For the cocktail I am having signature drinks, something that we actually made up, and it is delish.mmm... what else? As a guest, I love food and edible details, so I would go for something that you can eat. hope this helps!

cocktail napkins, matchbooks, those little flags for the drinks and cake that Vicki (I think) had, menus, table names that mean something to you . . . Years ago, I went to a wedding where they handed each lady a single red rose as we entered the reception.
