FI and I had our first meeting with the Pastor tonight! I was really nervous because I've only met him a handful of times but FI practically grew up in that church. FMIL takes my boys (10 and 8) to Awanas once a week so they know that I have kids from a previous marriage, but I was really nervous just because I am divorced and you just never know how religious figures feel about that stuff. He started off by telling me how wonderful and great my boys are and to keep doing whatever we're doing because they just love them so much! I almost started crying right there!! That really meant a lot to me. Anyway...this is the first of 4 or 5 sessions but it went really well and he didn't make me feel bad about anything. Glad the first ones over! Whew!!
