wedding day clutch/handbag

Did anyone use one? I found a nice one at the Coach outlet but didn't buy because it was about $65 and I couldn't decide if spending that on something for a one time use is worth it.

Honestly, I did not have a purse and I didn't need one. I had makeup and stuff up in the bridal suite but I never felt the need to freshen it up so there was no need to run up there. And also, at the time I was still smoking and I'll be damned if I know who kept track of my cigs all night but someone did. Either DH or my sis/MOH. They just appeared whenever I asked. I'm sure the same would have been true for lipstick or powder or whatever else.

I got one but it will probably be left in the bridal suite but since my church and reception are in different locations I wanted one for in between...i got mine for 20 bucks...i say if you can use it again spend 65...if it's a one time only for your wedding clutch...try getting something cheaper and then buy an everyday coach clutch!

I had an awesome vintage style claimshell clutch that I inherited from one of my sisters' friends.  I took it along, and it's in some of me detail shots, but I never actually used the thing.  It was completely empty until after dinner I stuffed my veil in there.  LOLIf you REALLY want the coach clutch and this is your "excuse" to buy it, I say go for it.  If you question is whether or not you need a purse, you probably won't.  My sister carried my lip gloss for touch ups, DH had the car keys and everything else was locked in my trunk.

I do like the Coach clutch, but it would be rare that I'd use it after the wedding.  I already have 2 wristlets that I barely ever use.  So I kind of feel like if I get something, it should be a bit more affordable. I've been looking on Ebay!

Not sure if I'll use it, but I actually found a cute silver clutch at Payless for $20 :-)

I didn't use a purse or clutch, I just designated my mother and sister (MOH) to carry that stuff for me. :-) Unless you really like the look of a purse or clutch I say go without. When will you have a day again where people are only too happy to be your schlepers?

What about getting a clutch or using a clutch in one of your wedding colors? You're more likely to carry it again (at least i would) and it would be a cool pop of color in some of your shots!

Tanya...yes the one I was looking at was a metallic and def. could have been used again!  But I was just too hesitant so I left without buying it.  I have seen a few on ebay that are a very pretty coppery color that would totally go with my colors.  I'd prefer to spend less than $30!
