Photographers on a budget??

First I want to say Thank You to everyone who responded to my previous photographer post. They were all such good suggestions, but unfortunately we are trying to work in a fairly tight budget.

Do any of you know of a good photographer who has packages for $2000 or less? $2000 is likely where we will have to cap our budget so any advice is appreiated. I have come to learn that photogs on a budget is no easy feat.

Our photog is $1000 for the day with two photogs and e-pics and rights to everything. We just did our e-pics with them and had a blast. If you look down a few threads you can see the link to them

I love our photographer Greg. His studio is www.gtcreativephoto.com He fits in your price and includes engagement session, photo rights (upgrade), all day photography and your album. Plus he is so great to work with.

I think I may have responded to your previous post, but I would highly recommend Sarah Ciccone. Her packages are very flexible. It should be aroundt $1000 for 8hrs on the day of, plus an engagment session and digital files of all the images. You can customize the packages if you don't need the full 8 hrs (or if you need more hours).

We were so happy to have found her - we loved the price and we loved our pictures even more (plus Sarah is awesome to work with)!

I second Muffers post. We are also going with Render Photography. Britt is super cool and way underpriced for her quality work. Very talented! I would very much recommend that you check out her website and set up a meeting with her. You will love her!

Would you be open to students or amateurs? I have a friend who does them for $500 but she lives out of state. Still, you may be able to find similar deals by going through people who are just starting out.

Imagen by Alex is $1075 for the whole day plus 2 other photoshoots. We did engagement pics and some pictures with our siblings for our parent gifts. You get all the rights to your pictures as well.

I should mention... we also met with Britt and Joe Kelly. It was a hard decision. Ultimately, we knew we wanted 2 photogs and we just didn't "click" with Britt like we did with Mike and Meng from SnapGrin.

I'd recommend Callie V -- she has an all-inclusive package under your budget that includes: epics, all day for wedding day with a 2nd photographer, all reproduction rights, and then voucher things for future sessions (like boudoir, trash the dress, or babies!) www.calliev.com

Have you checked craigslist? There are a lot listed under the "Event" section and I've looked at some of the photos and they're beautiful plus they're rather reasonable. I know that there are a lot of quality photogs that just can't afford to advertise on some of the paid websites like the knot.

I second Sarah Ciccone! She just did our e-pics Sunday and even though we haven't seen them, I could tell she really knew what she was doing and is super creative. Her prices can't be beat.
