Paul Mitchell School/Hair Salon Recs

Hi Everyone!! I am currently looking for a new hair salon, that isn't crazy expensive. Someone recommended the Paul Mitchell School in Twinsburg and said it was inexpensive. Has anyone ever been there?? Also, does anyone recommend a less expensive (I pay $85 for haircut, color and eyebrow arch). I live in Bedford now, and I don't mind traveling about 20 minutes most. Thanks!!!!!

Well I don't know about the Paul Mitchell school there, but I get my hair cut at the Paul Mitchell school here in LA and I love it. It's $12-$15 for a hair cut with color services starting around $30 I think. They have instructors that monitor them so as long as you are trusting and not super controlling over your hair, its great. They've always done a really good job with me.

I used to go to The Paul Mitchell School in Twinsburg and it was okay...but if you go there be prepared to spend a good 4-5 hours there. Since students are working on you, they have to constantly have someone over to check your hair and that may take 30 minutes in its self before someone gets over to you to check. I had 1 bad experience and since have not been back....my bleach was left on for too long and wasn't washed out very well...my hair around my face literally broke off over the next few days and I had what I call little sprouts all around my face...I will only go there for up-do's now...but that still takes a few hours....so plan a whole afternoon of staying there if you decide to go. GL!

Not sure what you get charged for your eyebrows, but I go to Chapel Hill Mall and have them "threaded".  The results are great and it lasts about 3 weeks before I touch it up.  It costs $10, but I have dark hair and dark eyebrows with fairly light skin, so it's SO worth it.  You don't HAVE to go to anyplace in particular for the threading---I've heard it's around $10 most places.

Well, I imagine they are like the Aveda school which I tried once BUT they take forever.  For a haircut they tell you it could take up to 2 hours. Sorry but time is money and I can't waste my time like that.Anyway, other than going to a school like that I can't imagine getting any cheaper than you are - $85 for all 3 of those services is CHEAP.  I don't even get just color for $85.

yes you can request people. Just when you make the apt make sure you let them know who you requests so they can book them. Shawna NoeCaitlin OnealColleen Hume

I went to school there. It will be a day long processs, yes for only an updo. Your best bet it to go to someone who has done wedding hair before.
