Cake stand

So are any of you renting a cake stand? and if so where from? I'm looking on ebay and the silver 12" ones are running for 50-80 dollars so if I can rent one I'd be happy. TIA

not sure where your wedding is, but Eagle Rentals in Ephrata has them - square and round. Here's the link:http://tinyurl.com/m3yd6x

Our cake lady had a cake stand that could be rented with the cake purchase so that may be an avenue to check out.

Depending how large your cake is (ours is fairly small) we got the Luigi Bormioli 4-in-1 cake plate, which converts to a punch bowl, appetizer plate and something else.  We will get a ton of use out of it and every time we pull it out for something we can think of the wedding.  They sell them at Kohl's for about $40, it's on sale right now for $20.

Thanks Manda, I checked that website out. We are getting married in York but we live in HBG so it might be an option. Good idea about checking with our bakery. I'll probably do that today. I want one of those Antique silver types so I know I can get it on ebay, rent one from mandas website...it would be soo easy if I could get it from the bakery witht he cake though!

Check with your venue if you even need one.  My venue made their own cake stand by putting boxes on the table and covered them in linens.  I loved the look!
