OOT Bags- what size?

I am researching where to get OOT bags for my hotel guests, but have no idea how big/small to get. What size where the bags you used? Is 8x10 too small? I just dont want to get huge ones that I cant fill. Any suggestions on where to find cheap, but nice, silver paper bags?

You can probably find them at www.papermart.com. That's where I purchased our favor boxes from.

Edit: This page in particular will probably be helpful: http://www.papermart.com/Product%20Pages/Product.aspx?GroupID=19065

Thank you! I did look at the one, the only problem was you have to order 250 bags. I only need like 30 or so :/

That's only if you buy them by the case.  You can also buy them by the package in smaller quantities (like 25).  First they list the "By The Case" price and then they list the "By The Package" price.

Take a look at this link and then scroll to the bottom: http://www.papermart.com/Product%20Pages/Product.aspx?GroupID=3877&SubGroupID=3909&ParentGroupID=19065#3909

I would wait until the last minute to do this -- you may only have a few OOT people staying at the hotel -- I only had 20 bags -- so buying boxes/bags in bulk would have been wayyy too expensive.

I got reusable cloth bags for my guests and received some nice feedback on them.  I went to

    1bagatatatime.com

There is a great party and flower supply store in Newark - I bought a bunch of stuff there for the wedding including tissue paper, my tall vases, candy dishesetc.  I am totally blanking on the name right now - starts with an M, but I have the receipt for some items at work and will post on Tuesday - that place is awesome and theey have goft bags of all sizes and colors (definitnely silver) that you can buy 5 to 10 at a time.  Great prices.

Leah - Are you talking about Mueller's?  If so, I second that place a million times over.  They have amazing prices for everything and everyone there is so helpful!

You can always go somewhere and get reusable bags. Whole Foods has the perfect size to bring lunch/other items to work with me and they're only $0.79/each. I just like the idea of giving something they can use, rather than throw away...
