Aria Bridesmaid Dresses

Have any of you purchased dresses from Aria?  I don't live near a showroom and two of my bridesmaids live in different states no where near a showroom.  I'm interested in a few different styles, but I'm worried about sizing them out (two of my maids are plus size).  Has anyone had experience using their sizing chart and being satisfied with what came?

Re: Aria Bridesmaid Dresses

  • I recommend their 'rental' program.  You can pay a small fee to have them send you sample dresses in certain sizes and styles so you know exactly what size and style you want to order.  My sister tried a few on for me when she was living near a showroom.  The quality was nice, but they would've required a fair amount of alterations since I don't think they come in petite and tall sizes.
  • Ditto the rental program.  I went to their DC showroom and the dresses are beautiful.  I plan on buying from them when it's closer to my wedding, probably in January sometime.  The dresses at the showroom were true to the chart, FWIW. I know they can get stretched out, etc, but if you measure correctly, you shouldn't have a problem.  I would still recommend the rentals, though.
  • I recently wore an Aira dress as a BM and was extremely dissappointed in the quality of the fabric. It wasn't cheap, but it looked/felt cheap. Sorry, that's just my experience.
  • It's good to know your experience, thanks for sharing!  I think I'm leaning towards the after six dress because the girls can get it online for between $115-$150 and they wouldn't have to try the lender program!  :)
