Florist Help

So, I was pretty much set on using Rebekah with Glass Fountain for our flowers and she recently had a timeline issue pop up because of another wedding the same day, so it looks like I won't be able to use her. It really is a shame, because I really liked her. I already know what flowers I want to use, but I obviously need to use another florist now. The only catch is our budget is not at all huge and I need someone who is willing to work with people like me who can't spend thousands of dollars on flowers. Will you girls please toss out your recommendations for florists who do an amazing job and are willing to work with you?

    KLK.. I was also going to use Rebekah, until I found another florist who was willing to go lower than what Rebekah had already quoted. I have her info if you want to send me your email address I can send you her information. She has her florist licenses and had wedding planning background. She plans to open up her own business soon so she's just trying to test the waters. She's super sweet and very easy to work with!!

    We used Becky with Bouquets of Austin. I would be upfront about what you're willing to spend with all the florists. It never hurts to ask if they'll match. FWIW, I was thrilled with Becky.

    I keep hearing that Central Market has the best prices in town, although I haven't quoted anything with them yet.

    Yes, I used Donna Foster at Central Market North.  She doesn't do email and only returns calls on Tuesdays but she is wonderful.  She told me I was spending too much on flowers.  She told me she could give me what I wanted without all the cost.  I highly recommend her.  The delivery fee was nothing compared to others.

    I am using LouAnn with Verbena...she's so awesome and is reallly helping me out with my tiny flower budget.  We picked flowers that were'nt as expensive but still looked great!  I totally recommend her if you're still looking.:)Amanda

    Donna Foster with Central Market saved me 50 - 65% on flowers from what a wide variety of florists were quoting me.  Her arrangements & bouquets were gorgeous, plus she provided more flowers than the others were going to.I spoke with a floral designer from LA the other day, and she said she was amazed with how expensive florists were in Austin.  She said their quotes were often hundreds of dollars more than they charge in LA !!

    I am using Susan Pascoe with Callas Flowers. She is amazing and works in every budget. She beat Central Market/HEB pricing and was WAY more reasonable than Bouquet of Austin. I really have enjoyed working with her so far and can't wait to see the flowers on our wedding day! Check her out at: www.callasflowers.com
